Allan Ladbrook

Allan Ladbrook

Allan has been a motorcycle mechanic since leaving school; he prides himself on maintaining the City Motorcycle Rentals fleet to the highest standard possible. He takes great satisfaction in knowing that he has helped to ensure his customers have a memorable holiday. Allan loves most bikes but generally rides a BMW1150GS. Allan is married to Andrea.

Andrea Ladbrook

Andrea Ladbrook

Andrea will be your main point of contact during the consultation and booking stages of planning your adventure. And for those opting for semi-guided and personalised tours, Andrea will most likely be your tour guide! Of course she tries to contain her excitement at the prospected of going riding – just in case one of the boys decide it is their turn! Andrea has been riding since she was 15-years old; when to her horror her father would only allow her to ride a scooter, but later when Allan and Andrea met, Allan encouraged Andrea to progress to a Yamaha XS650 Special. During their 30-years of marriage they have had many bikes and even a couple of sidecars to accommodate their three children while they were growing up. Their children have fantastic memories of summer holidays or motorcycle rallies loaded up with Allan and two kids on the GSX1150 with sidecar and a trailer and Andrea on her Suzuki LS650 with the third child.

Brett Ladbrook

Brett Ladbrook

Brett is Allan’s brother and is also a partner in the business; his focus at City Motorcycle Rentals is sales of scooters and motorbike accessories. Brett is also involved with the ‘meet and greet’ aspect of the rental business and will help getting clients packed onto their rental bike and away.

Brett has been riding motorbikes since he was 12-years old and currently rides a Yamaha FJ1100 with a sidecar. Brett loves to get off-the-beaten track and explore the hidden secrets of New Zealand – often tucked down gravel roads! He is also a big fan of the Banks Peninsula bendy roads and enjoys visiting Akaroa.
When he is not at work Brett enjoys cooking and doing odd-jobs around the house.
